Down Product Labeling

The Law Label is a disclosure label required by law that must be attached to comforters, pillows and featherbeds and can only be detached by the consumer.

The label must tell you, in language defined by law, the type of filling, and with regards to down comforters, pillows and featherbeds, the exact minimum percentage of down and feathers contained. This is the best way to determine the precise contents of the down product you plan to buy rather than by relying on embellished or false advertising and packaging.

Eiderdown comforters, eiderdown pillows, eiderdown duvets and eiderdown quilts must provide labeling with this information, so pay attention to the percent of eiderdown you're really paying for.
