Eiderdown in Music

Just as in literature, eiderdown has made an appearance through the years in song lyrics. Pink Floyd, to name one such artist who referenced eiderdown to convey a certain sensation, sang the following chorus:

Alone in the clouds all blue / Lying on an eiderdown / Yippee! / You can't see me, but I can you.

Eiderdown does not simply communicate material worth, but a kind of spiritual or emotional transcendence.
